Nomination for HME Maritime Innovation Award 2009

The jury of the Maritime Innovation Award has officially nominated Datema Delfzijl BV for the Maritime Innovation Award 2009. The winner of the HME Maritime Innovation Award 2009 will be announced at the Maritime Awards Gala in Rotterdam on October 28th 2009.

Datema is nominated for this prestigious award with their newly introduced revolutionary ENCTrack service. ENCTrack is the first pay-as-you sail ENC distribution service in the world. Other nominees include IHC Merwede Parts & Services, Promac BV, VSTEP. Please check www.hme.nl for more details.

The gala will host hundreds of top level guests from the Dutch marine cluster, Dutch government and politics. The programme contains a well known speaker with as final highlight the presentation of the five awards.

New company logo Datema

Together with the successful introduction of ENCTrack, Datema is proud to present the new company logo. The new logo to our opinion better reflects our innovative and modern approach of the maritime world. We will of course continue to enhance real seamanship by traditional means of navigation, but our principal focus will be on the development of management systems for ENCs, ECDIS systems, Shore to Ship communication and Data Traffic.
