The launch
ENCTrack was launched at Norshipping last week. The launch has been very succesfull. We have had a lot of fun and more importantly we received excellent press coverage. The big red balls were a big eyecatcher. The jugglers we hired on monday and tuesday sparked a smile on many faces, bringing a bit of fun to this otherwise serious event.
I am sure our launch did not go unnoticed with the existing parties in the market. Most noteworthy was the UKHO's response straight after the press-conference. The discussion on safety versus commercial interests is reaching new heights as the UKHO is questioning the legitimacy of our new service in a piece in Lloyds List this week.
The essence of the matter is whether the current way of licencing is as userfriendly as it can be or whether we can do better.
